The Pepin Press are publishers of high-quality art & design titles, such as stationery sets, gift- and creative papers, illustrated books, professional-quality colouring books, bags and purses. All our products are conceived and designed in-house.

The company grew out of Pepin van Roojen’s one-man graphic design and book production operation in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, which started in 1988. In 1990, the first book under the Pepin Press imprint was published and we have since issued nearly a thousand titles. After almost a decade in Asia Pepin moved back to his hometown of Amsterdam, but the link with the Far East was kept intact and we maintain production as well as logistic facilities in both Europe and Asia.

To serve the North American market, The Pepin Press LLC was established in New Jersey in 2016. Our working entities, The Pepin Press BV (Netherlands) and The Pepin Press LLC (U.S.A.), are subsidiaries of Pepin Holding BV.

Image Archive
Over the past 30 years we have built a huge archive of books, prints, decorative art originals, textiles and fashion items. In addition, we have an archive of tens of thousands of digitized, and often restored, patterns, ornaments and illustrations. Most of our products are developed using content selected from our archives.

Organization
In tandem with our creative focus, we have paid much attention to building an international distribution network. We supply our customers from warehouses in Europe, Asia and the U.S.A. In addition, we have wholesale and distribution partners in about 60 countries. Our products are available worldwide from thousands of physical and online retailers, including bookstores, art supply and craft stores, museum stores, department stores and many other types of outlets. Some of our best-selling products have sold over 1 million units worldwide.

Following a career as international sales manager with large German publishing companies, Pepin’s wife, Anette van Roojen, joined the company as Sales Director in 2000. At present Anette and Pepin run the company with a small and dedicated team, assisted by a group of about thirty freelancers.
