In our bright and airy office in Amsterdam Oud West we currently work with 5 people; from here we coordinate all our activities.  The logistic part of our operations has been outsourced to specialised companies in the U.S.A., the U.K., Germany and The Netherlands.

We have two vacancies:

VACANCY 1: OFFICE MANAGEMENT  / ADMINISTRATION (ENGLISH AND DUTCH)

 
The ideal candidate will be able to help with all matters related to running a small, informal business. This includes dealing with customers, suppliers, our bookkeeper, auditors, shippers and warehouses.
 

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and organize office activities together with our sales director
  • Keep administrative processes up to date
  • Oversee stock levels at various warehouses
  • Maintain relationships with B2B customers and suppliers (both worldwide)
  • Assist sales staff

Profile

  • Experience with administrative work
  • Kind, service-oriented and a positive demeanor
  • Efficient; good organizational skills
  • Ability to develop a good overview of a small but fairly complex organization
  • Good command of the Dutch language, fluent in English
  • Living in or near Amsterdam (please do not apply if this is not the case).

VACANCY 2: ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT  (ENGLISH AND DUTCH)

 
We are looking for someone to help us service our worldwide customer base of book-, gift-, concept- and department stores, wholesalers and distributors and some of the world’s greatest museums’ stores. 

Responsibilities

  • maintaining relationships with existing customers
  • looking for new sales opportunities
  • order processing, database and inventory management
  • analysing and preparing sales reports

Profile

  • Good Dutch language proficiency and fluent in English. Other language skills are welcome;
  • Some work experience;
  • Organisational skills and independent working habits;
  • Living in or near Amsterdam (please do not apply if this is not the case).

Hours generally are 20 to 32 hrs per week and will be determined based on experience, the range of activities you will be able to contribute to and your personal situation. This will be discussed as and when both parties feel there is a possible match.

We offer salaries commensurate with education and experience. Pepin Press’ employees start on temporary contracts as permitted by Dutch law.
